k.carpenter will have paintings hung for your viewing pleasure starting this friday at tosa aurora. there is an opening reception from 5-9pm. metal sculptor charles lefkowitz will also be showing off his art as well. all of the art will be up for the entire month, so don’t be shy and get over to aurora.

wow! what a day. i’m still a bit overwhelmed by all the support i received on saturday. thanks to everyone that donated funds to tosa. you all made me the winner of the “most funds raised” trophy. thanks to everyone who came out and voted for their favorite live art. i had a fun time painting within the two hour time limit and was pleased with the outcome. i was saying all along that the secret ingredient would be a potato. i was wrong.

k.carpenter will be spray painting in this year’s Iron Artist event! the artists are getting primed and the competition looks tough. a benefit and fundraiser, TOSA’s denver location is hosting the party on saturday, june 26 from noon-6pm. there is a $10 entry fee, which will access all the festivities. you will be able to bid on art in the silent auction, watch the live art competition from 2-4pm, mingle with celebrities while eating grilled food, enjoy cool beverages with other creatives and finally, vote for your favorite live art, and hear the judges announce the winner of the 2010 Iron Artist.
